Mr. Chad Richard Sanford, age 37, of Ellijay, Ga. died Friday July 22, 2011.

Mr. Sanford was born on August 8, 1973 in Gilmer Co. He worked in the construction business and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Callie West and Luther Sanford.

Survivors include: Daughter: Ashley Sanford, Ellijay; Sons: Dillan, Dakota, and Cole Sanford, all of Ellijay; Mother and stepfather: Regina and Ricky Dockery, Ellijay; Father: Ricky Sanford, Ellijay; Grandmother: Mattie Sanford Morris, AL; Fiance: Amanda Isaac, Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 25, 2011 at 1pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Burt and Rev. Allen Swafford officiating. Interment will be held in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Sunday, July 24th from 11am until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
