Lillie Mae Richert Patrick, age 85 of the Gates Chapel Community, Ellijay, GA, passed from this life on Monday, September 26th, 2011 from the Heritage Nursing Home in Jasper, GA. Born on October 6th, 1925, to her late parents Henry Conrad and Ella FLorence “Kintner” Richert Ward. A member of Gates Chapel United Methodist Church, a graduate of New Albany High School in Indiana and Prosser Vocational School, becoming a nurse. Mrs. Patrick was employed with Community Hospital East until her retirement in 1986. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Rev. Osa Patrick, three sisters and six brothers.

Survivors inclue daughters and son-in-law Linda S. and John Turner of Brownsburg, IN, Rebekah M. Shirley of Indianapolis, IN; son and daughter-in-law Don and Vicki Patrick of Ellijay, GA; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning October 1, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sharon Watkins and Rev. Adam Mathis officiating. Music and song by Diane Harley. Graveside interment service will follow in the Gates Chapel United Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Corey Henn, Jacob Shirley, Mark Patrick, Tommy Patrick, Todd Turner, Benjamin Turner, Brad Turner, Mark Stowers, Johnathan Mayfield, Don Torrance and Matthew Turner.

Family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m., Friday September 30th, 2011 at the Logan Funeral Home.
