Mr. Roger Dale Lomax age 61 of Ellijay died Monday November 19, 2012.

Mr. Lomax was born on September 3, 1951 in Atlanta, GA. He was a carpenter. He is preceded in death by his father Van Everette Lomax, Jr., brothers Michael and Tony Lomax and grandparents Will and Ethel Stover.

Survivors include: Mother: Marie Stover Lomax, Ellijay; Daughter: Lila Lomax, Dawsonville, GA; Sister & Brother-in-law: Brenda & William Morris, Ellijay; Nieces & spouses: Rebecca & Michael Huntsman, Greenville, SC, Kelley & Eric Hartshorn, Providence, RI; 2 Great nieces: Allie Grace Huntsman, Greenville, SC, Kara Harthorn, Providence, RI; 2 Great nephews: Cade & Drew Huntsman both of Greenville, SC; Aunt: Reba Stover, Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 24, 2012 at 3:30pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Townsend officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday Nov. 24th from 11am until 3:30pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Interment will be held in the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Bernhardt Funeral Home @ P.O. Box 466 Ellijay, GA 30540 to help with the funeral expenses of Mr. Lomax.
