Mr. J.W. Cochran age 86 of Ellijay, GA died Saturday February 15, 2014.Mr. Cochran was born November 25, 1927 in Polk Co. TN to the late Reid and Hester Abercrombie Cochran. He worked 30 years for the Fannin County School System, loved working on cars and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Cochran is preceded in death by his wife Lovella Greer Cochran and granddaughter Kennedy Cochran.

Survivors Include: Son and Daughter in-law Jackie and Kelly Cochran, Ellijay; Daughter Dawn Smith, Ellijay; Uncle R.J. Cochran, Ellijay; 7 Grandchildren Reid (Jessica), Russell, Ross and Rylan Cochran, Megan, Emily and Holly Smith.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday February 19, 2014 at 1pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Greer, Minister Butch Jones and Minister Terry Stuart officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday February 18th from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
