Mr. Raymond “Bud” Stanley age 77 of Ellijay, GA died Tuesday September 16, 2014.
Mr. Stanley was born December 7, 1936 in Gilmer County to the late Cecil and Eunice Nicholls Stanley. He was a member of Northcutt Baptist Church and a graduate from Gilmer High School Class of 1955. Mr. Stanley is preceded in death by parents and brother, William Stanley.

Survivors Include: wife, Judy Kilgore Stanley, of the home; sister and brother in-law, Jean and TJ Aldridge, Rome, GA; sisters in-law and brothers in-law, Wayne and Kay Kilgore, Dawsonville, GA, Gloria Flowers, Duluth, GA, Kathy and David McDonald, Buford, GA, Mike and Carol Kilgore, Suwanee, GA; Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday September 18th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Edmund Miller and David McDonald officiating. Pallbearers will be Harold Norton, Ronald May, Raymond Dale, Jerry Norton, Tommy Nichols and Joey Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Class of 1955, Billy Helton, Ronnie Barrett, Buddy Key, Rose Knight Baker and Buddy Beard.

Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday September 17th from 5pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home
