Gilmer Goes Prowling in Panthers’ Territory at Parkview Duals: Bobcats Remain Unbeaten

The Gilmer High School Bobcats wrestling team improved to 10-0 on the young 2011 season, as the Bobcats bolstered Gilmer’s record by eliminating all competitors at the Parkview Duals.Fresh off of a sweeping victory during the Black Beard Duals, held at Allatoona High School, the Bobcats once again broke down all opponents, “Breakin” out the broom, like “Turbo” cleaning up the store front, with yet another sweep at the Parkview Duals.

Loganville was the only school to truly compete with Gilmer, losing by one point, 34-33. The host, Panthers, was declawed, 49-18. Union Grove, was decimated 57-21. The Etowah Eagle’s wings were clipped 61-15.
The finals saw Woodland taken to the wood shed 43-33. The Bobcats will next host Cartersville, SE Whitfield, and Sequouyah Thursday December 1st.
