On Saturday April 27 at 2PM there will be a memorial service conducted by the Sons of Confederate Veterans at the City of Ellijay Cemetery.

This service will include a volley of fire from muskets. The muskets will be firing inert loads which does not in any way involve the use of projectiles.

In light of recent national events, it is important for the general public to know that this is a planned and approved event, so as to dispel any public alarm.
