The Gilmer High School Lady Bobcats volleyball team attended a tournament at Sonoraville High School. The Lady “Cats” two out of a possible three games, with the lone loss coming at the hands of the host team.The Lady “Cats” faced Sonoraville first, falling in straight sets, to the Lady Phoenix. Coahulla Creek faced off with Gilmer in the next game, with the Lady “Cats” clutching victory in three sets.

The Lady “Cats” last faced Darlington, a team that head coach, Donna Parks, described as “evenly matched” with her own.

While the sets were evenly matched, the “Cats” dispatched the darlings of Darlington in straight sets, winning 25-20 and 25-23.
