Members from all public safety entities in Gilmer County as well as the Board of Education Staff and Road Department, met early Monday morning with County Emergency Management to discuss and make preparations for the possible incoming winter storm. All attending watched the most recent live information from the National Weather Service and framed up response plans.
GILMER EMA is making preparations to establish a warming shelter at the civic center for those that might be exposed to the elements of this incoming storm. Please pass this on if there are individuals that need to sheltered from the elements.
