Mrs. Patricia Mae Johnson Patterson, age 75 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday evening, May 30, 2014, at the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia.Mrs. Patterson was born on July 18, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia, to her late parents Samuel David and Edith Holstein Johnson. She was a member of the New Vision Pentecostal Church and a retiree of the GTE Corporation. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Garvin Patterson, daughter, Linda Copeland, and her sons, John David Jones and Buddy Jones.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth M. “Kasey” Castleberry of Ellijay, GA; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Norman Johnson of Winder, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 1st, 2014 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Irene Wofford officiating. Music and vocals will be by Rev. Irene Wofford. Graveside interment will follow in the Cherry Log Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on Saturday, May 31st, 2014 at the Logan Funeral Home.
