Psalm 139:7-10 “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.” O Omnipresent God, your word teaches us that you are everywhere. There is not a place in the world or in the expanses of space where you are not. There is not a place in our individual worlds where you do not have power to make us more than we are. Sometimes we try to flee from you because we don’t want to face the things you want us to deal with. So as hard as we may try we cannot get where you cannot deal with us.

So wherever we go there you will be to guide us if we will allow you. We can get our lives as tangled as a mesh of string and even in this place far away from your presence your strong hand still holds us.

Wherever this person is in terms of closeness or awayness help this one who reads this prayer to sense your nearness in Christ.
