Mr. Raymond McDaniel age 74 of Mack Long RD Ellijay, GA died Friday December 12, 2014. Mr. McDaniel was born January 18, 1940 in Pickens County the son of the late Arlin and Lorie Timms McDaniel. He was retired from GoldKist Company where he worked as a Supervisor for a number of years.

Survivors include: Sons and daughters-in-laws: Michael and Cathy McDaniel, David and Margie McDaniel all of Ellijay, Keith and Donna McDaniel, Dalton, Johnny McDaniel, Tunnel Hill, Sisters: Pam Eller, Teresa Holcomb, both of Pickens County. 6 grandchildren several great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Grizzle officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 12 until 9pm at the funeral home.
