Clayborn William Davis, age 94 of Jasper, Georgia passed on Thursday, December 18th, 2014, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.He was a member of Gospel Temple in Ball Ground, Georgia, born Thursday, February 26, 1920 in Jasper, Georgia .Mr. Davis served his country honorably in the United States Navy during WWII. He was employed by Lockheed Martin, as a machinist. Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Fund, 3343 Peachtree Road, NE #M20, Atlanta, GA., 30326, in memory of Clayborn Davis.

Survivors include wife of 67 years Mildred Davenport Davis of the home in Jasper; daughters and sons-in-law Susan Lee and John Vigil of Acworth, GA., Sandra Lynn and James Watson of Dallas, GA.; son and daughter-in-law Stephen Lewis and Rentha Davis of Jasper, GA.; grandchildren, Leah Vigil, Rachel Vigil; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 20th, 2014 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Williams, & Rev. Butch Roberts officiating. Military Graveside will follow in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion, with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta, GA. Pallbearers will be Ransom McArthur, Travis McArthur, Joel Davis, Rick Mincey, Rex Jones, Jamie Brown, Kenneth Hulsey, Bill Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Davis, Randall Davis and Dave Davenport.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2014, at Logan Funeral Home.
