Ms. Dorothy “Marcy” Chastine James, age 48 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at her residence. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia, born May 8th, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a graduate of Jonesboro High School, Class of 1985, and was a homemaker.

Survivors include daughters and son in law , Magen James of Ellijay, GA, Jennifer J. and Kenneth McDowell of Newnan, GA, and Olivia B. Oliver of Ellijay, GA; Son, Zachary Oliver of Hartwell, GA; Father and Mother, Harold and Judy Chastine of Hartwell, GA; Grandchildren, Brittany McDowell, Emily McDowell, Ashlee McDowell, Tonya Dover, Joseph Lee McCalley, and Lorelie Long; Brother, John Chastine of Hartwell, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at Logan Funeral Home Pavilion.
