Mrs. Alene Dorothy Davis Vick, age 80 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at the Gilmer Nursing Home. Mrs. Vick was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for 70 years. She was born June 1, 1934 in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents Claude Monroe and Mandy Kay Davis. She was employed with J & C Bedspread and Blue Ridge Carpet Mill..

She is survived by her Husband of 63 years, James Junior Vick of the Home in Ellijay; Sons & daughters in-law Freddie & Joann Vick of Ellijay, GA, Michael & Tammy Vick of Ellijay, GA; Grandchildren Hannah & Joey Davis, Jeff and Lauren Vick, Shannon and Nikki Chastain, Nikki Vick Standridge and Dylan Vick; great grand children Caroline Davis, Bailey Standridge, Lucas Chastain; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday April 13th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wallace Parks, Rev. Paul Richards, and Rev. Roger Burgess officiating. Music and Singing will be by the Clayton family and Cathy Bramblett. Graveside Interment will follow in the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Davis, Jeff Vick, Shannon Chastain, Dylan Vick, Calvin Pierce, Junior Vick and Clay Vick.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Logan Funeral Home.
