Mrs. Jo Ann Waters Storms age 67 of Cherry Log died Friday January 7, 2010.

Mrs. Storms was born on October 8, 1943 in Cherokee Co. She is the daughter of the late John Waters & Mamie Jane Ledford Waters. She was employed by Robert Shaw as a welder and was a member of the Boardtown Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lisa Storm, and brother, Kenneth Waters.

Survivors include: Husband: George Storms of the home; Son: George Storms, Ellijay; Daughters and sons-in-law: Vivian and Ricky Thurman, Cherry Log, Amanda and Jeremiah Wright, Cherry Log; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great grandchildren; Sisters and brothers-in-law: Joyce and Jimmy Butler, Jean Stanley, Willie Mae and Jimmy Thurman, Melba Bennett, all of Cherry Log.

Due to the weather the Funeral services have been moved to Saturday January 15th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister David Mullins officiating. Interment will be held in the Boardtown Church of Christ Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Sunday, January 9 from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
