Mr. William Daniel “Dan” Evans age 51 of Chatsworth Highway, Ellijay died Wednesday March 2, 2011.

Dan was born July 1, 1959 in Gilmer Co. the son of W.T. Evans and Margie Dover Evans. He was employed by Beaulieu Carpets as a department manager, a member of the Calvary Way Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include:

Wife: Linda McClure Evans of the home; Daughter: Jennifer Parris, Ellijay; Grandchildren: Colby and Maggie Parris, Ellijay; Father and Mother: W.T. and Margie Evans, Ellijay; Sister: Janice Burgess; Brother: Pat Evans

Funeral services will be held Sunday March 6, 2011 at 2:00pm from the chapel of the Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Edmund Miller and Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Flint Hill cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 5, 2011 from 12 noon until 9pm at the funeral home.
