Mr. Donald A. Lyons age 51 of Conyers, GA formerly of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Wednesday June 8, 2011 as a result of an accident.

Mr. Lyons was born in Charlotte, NC. He attended McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA. He was self-employed. Mr. Lyons is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Raley Lyons, Harlem, GA, a sister, Brownwin Rhett Lyons, Marietta, GA, maternal grandparents Henrietta Sellers and Herman Raley, Winnsboro, SC & paternal grandparents Ralph and Ruia Lyons, Charlotte, NC.

Survivors include: Father & step-mother: Sanford (Sandy) and Norma Lyons, Ellijay; Brother: Andrew C. Lyons, Smyrna, GA; Sisters: Brandie L. Unterreiner, Windsor, England, Merry L. Mullins, Mableton, GA; Aunt, Uncles, Nieces & Nephews also survive

Memorial services will be held Sunday June 12, 2011, at 2:00pm from the Hurt Road Baptist Church in Smyrna, GA.

Visitation with family will follow the memorial service.
