Mr. Tommy Gene Rice age 66 of Kingston, GA, formerly of Ellijay died Tuesday July 12, 2011.

Mr. Rice was born August 7, 1944 in Gilmer Co. the son of the late Thomas Rice and Drucilla Bell Rice. He retired from the Bartow County Road Department and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Sister: Claudia Hall, Atlanta; Brothers: Robert Rice, Ellijay, Jimmy Rice, Kingston, GA; Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Fri July 15, 2011 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Edmund Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday, July 14 from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
