Mr. Elford Marshall Southerland age 83, of the Tails Creek Community, Ellijay, GA, passed from this life on Monday July, 19th, 2011 from his residence.Born February 14th, 1928 to his late parents Gordan Columbus and Ida Collis Southerland in Ellijay, Gilmer County, GA. Mr. Southerland was a General Laborer at Shaw Industries.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Elford Marshall Southerland Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 485, Ellijay, GA 30540.

Survivors include brother Mr. Eugene Southerland of Calhoun, GA. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27th, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wallace Parks officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27th until the time of the service at Logan Funeral Home.
