The Gilmer Bobcats swim team finished 19th overall at the state swim meet in Tifton Ga, with a combined total (girls’ and boys) score of 43 points. Kaylin Woodring became Gilmer’s first ever state champion swimmer, when she won the Girls 9-10 50 yd. freestyle. Overall, the Bobcats placed 8 swimmers in a total of 9 different events. The places are one through eight, with each place winner securing team points.
