Virginia Banks Henson : Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Banks Henson, age 60, of Henson Lane Ellijay, Ga., died Friday Sept. 16, 2011Mrs. Henson was born January 31, 1951 in Gilmer County the daughter of the late T.C. Banks and Eva Mae Sanford Banks. She worked as a cook at Dairy Queen and was a member of the Turniptown Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Henson.

Survivors; Daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Eric Carney, Hickory, NC; Sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Connie Henson, Ellijay, Chris and Hope Henson, Ellijay, Michael Henson, Ellijay; 7 Grandchildren; Sister and brother-in-law: Geneva and Gary Sutton, Ellijay; Brother and sister-in-law: Danny and Libby Banks, Ellijay

Funeral services will be held Sunday September 18, 2011 at 3pm from the Turniptown Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Pettit, Rev. Michael Smith and Rev. Ricky Brown officiating. Interment will be held in the Turniptown Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Saturday, September 17 from 3pm until 9pm.
