Nola Helen Logan Stephens age 80 of St. Augustine, FL, formerly of Ellijay, GA, passed from this life on October, 19, 2011 from her residence. She was born October 18th, 1931 to her late parents Charlie Thomas and Cleo Clowdis Logan in Ellijay, Gilmer County, GA. Mrs. Stephens was a member of Anastasia Baptist Church, a Gilmer High School graduate, class of 1949, received a B.A. from North Gerogia College and a Master’s Degree from the University of Georgia. She was a retired school teacher from the Gilmer County School System. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles M. Stephens.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law; Rhonda S. and Rick Pavlovsky of Ellijay, GA, grandchildren Tesesa and Bobby Teague of Ellijay, GA, Rev. Chris and Dorothy Pavlovsky of Dallas, GA, Eric and Meredith Pavlovsky of Blairsville, GA: great grandchildren; Taylor and Boston Teague, Leaila, Ella, Grace, Linley and Kinsey Pavlovsky.

Funeral services will be 12:00 NOON, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Holt, Rev. Ron Moore and Rev. Chris Pavlovsky. Interment service will be in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with interment following in the Ellijay City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Pavlovsky, Eric Pavlovsky, Mac Logan, Gus Logan, Ted Logan, Scott Logan and Michael Holt.

Family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 24th, 2011 at Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
