Mr. Hugh Gerald Huggins, age 88, of Boardtown Rd., Ellijay died Friday October 21, 2011.

Mr. Huggins was born on November 24, 1922 in Carroll Co., GA. He is the son of the late William L. Huggins and Mary Crawford Huggins. He worked at Lockheed in Marietta, was a veteran of the US Army, and was a member of Harvest Missionary Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lynell Williamson Huggins.

Survivors include: Daughter and son-in-law Susan H. and Bob Self, Jasper; Son, Gary L. Huggins, Jasper; Grandchildren: Michael Self, TX Melissa Moore, Stateboro, GA; 6 Great grandchildren; Sister: Dorothy H. Nalley, Carrollton, GA; Brother: Arland Huggins, Carrollton, GA

Funeral services will be held Monday October 24, 2010 at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Talmadge Chandler officiating. Interment will be held in the Yukon Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Sunday, October 23, from 4pm until 8pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
