Mrs. Alice Rogers Johnson age 96 of Chatsworth Hwy. Ellijay died Monday October 24, 2011.

Mrs. Johnson was born on April 27, 1915 in Gilmer Co. She is the daughter of the late James Madison Rogers and Emma Victoria Fowler Rogers. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Claude Johnson and sisters Marie Rogers Dilbeck & Bessie Rogers Shires.

Survivors include: Several Cousins; Sister-in-law: Opal Myers, Douglasville, GA; Niece-in-law: Vickie Clifton, Marietta, GA; And a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October 27, 2011 at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Jones officiating.

Interment will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday October 27th from 11am until the funeral hour at 3pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
