Mr. James Kermit Charles age 79 of Praise the Lord Lane, Blairsville, GA formerly of Ellijay died Wednesday October 26, 2011.
Mr. Charles was born on January 5, 1932 in Attalla, AL to the late Herschel Charles and Minnie Langley Charles. He was a welder for Speed Check and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: Wife: Reba Mull Charles of the home; Daughters: Diana Jones, Blairsville, GA, De De Thompson, Sylvester, GA, Sharon Heard, Blairsville, GA; Son: Ricky Worley, Jonesboro, GA; Sisters: Virginia Smith & Claudia Brown both of Ellijay, Jewell Franklin, Cumming, GA; Brothers: Willie Charles, Ellijay, Elmo Charles, McCaysville, GA; 7 Grandchildren, 22 Great grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 29, 2011 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hyde officiating. Interment will be in the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday, October 28 from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
