Rev. William F. “Bill” McCurry age 77 of Old Miller Rock Road, Ellijay, died Wednesday October 26, 2011.
Rev. McCurry was born on August 25, 1934 in Athens, AL to the late John Henry McCurry and Julie Hamsley McCurry. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Wife: Jeanette McCurry of the home; Daughters: Pam Ramphal, Fayetteville, GA Angela Jackson, South Haven, MS Pat Taylor, Bethlehem, GA; Brothers: Rev. Doug and Woodrow McCurry, Athens, AL; 4 Grandchildren: Joseph, Jeanette, Rebecca & Alexander; 1 Great grandchild: Seth
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 29, 2010 at 12 noon from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Euel Reece and Rev. Philip Trask officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday, October 28, from 6pm until 8pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
