Joyce Ellis Nelson : Obituary

Mrs. Joyce Ann Ellis Nelson age 53 of Pineywood Dr., Ellijay died Friday November 18, 2011.

Mrs. Nelson was born on July 30, 1958 in Barberton, OH. She held a bachelors degree in Business & Accounting, worked as an accountant for B & R Builders, and was a member of Calvary Church in McCaysville, GA. She is preceded in death by her father, Rev. Edward Ellis.

Survivors include: Husband: Larry Nelson, of the Home; Son and daughter-in-law: Ryan and Kira Nelson, Ellijay; Grandchildren: Mikayla Nelson and Lexie Nelson, both of Ellijay; Mother: Marlene Ellis, Ellijay; Sister and brother-in-law: Marie and John Lingle, Dahlonega; Nieces: Amber Waddell Wehunt, Carlie Lingle, both of Dahlonega; Nephews and in-law: Jason and Sherry Waddell, Jake Lingle, Dahlonega

Funeral services will be held Monday November 21 at 2pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones and Pastor John Kilpatrick officiating. Interment will be held in the Ellijay Church of Christ Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Sunday, November 20 from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
