Carolyn Jean Bramlett Clayton age 75 of the Tails Creek Community, Ellijay, Gilmer County, GA, passed from this life on November 23rd, 2011, from the North Georgia Medical Center.Ms. Clayton was of the Baptist faith, born March 26th, 1936 to her late parents Maxine Evon Martin Bramlett and Lewis Milton Bramlett, Jr. in Martinsville, IN. She was employed as a librarian and clerk. She is preceded in death by husband Floyd J. Clayton, son Gilford Rayannon Clayton and brother James “Jimmy” Lewis Bramlett.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Yelonda and B.G. Banks of Ellijay; sons and daughter-in-law Wayne Randall Clayton of Fayetteville, GA, Daryl Roger Clayton, Paul Reagen and Deloris Clayton, all of Carrollton, GA; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Judy and Jim Quarles of Ellijay; brother and sister-in-law Ernest “Ernie” and Frankie Bramlett of Douglasville, Ga, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m., Sunday November 27, 2011 from the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel with the Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Encryptment will be Tuesday afternoon at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.

Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Sunday November 27, 2011 until the time of the service.
