Mr. Henry Grady “Buster” Parks, Jr. age 74 of Parks Brook Rd. Ellijay died Saturday January 21, 2012.
Mr. Parks was born on February 10, 1937 in Gilmer Co. Mr. Parks retired from the Georgia Marble Co. and was a member of the Rock Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in his father Henry G. Parks, Sr.
Survivors include: Mother: Aimee Parks, Ellijay; Son: James Parks, Jasper; Daughter: Judy Parks, Cherry Log; Brothers: Edward, Wallace & Johnny Parks all of Ellijay, Jimmy Parks, Jasper, Billy Parks, Kingston, GA; Sisters: Sue Walker & Peggy Mullins both of Jasper, Brenda Pylant, Jonesboro, GA; 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson also survives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 25, 2012 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Burgess officiating.
Interment will be held in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday January 24th from 12noon until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
The family request no food be brought to the Funeral Home.
