Mr. David Clarke Benson, age 36, of Bumpy Hollow Rd. Ellijay died Friday March 23, 2012.
Mr. Benson was born on April 16, 1975 in East Point, GA. He worked as an independent construction contractor and was a member of the Southwest Christian Church in East Point. He is preceded in death by his father, William David Benson.

Survivors include: Daughters: Amellia Benson, Miranda Benson, both of Roswell; Son: Dagan Benson, Roswell; Mother: Pamela Benson, Riverdale, GA; Mother of his children: Amy Benson, Roswell; Uncles and Aunts: Matthew and Sue Mercer, Morganton, Phil and Ellen Mercer, Jonesboro, Kenneth and Betsy Mercer, Ellijay, Jimmy and Carolyn Peoples, Conley, Steve Benson, Jonesboro

Memorial services will be held Monday March 26, 2012 at 6pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Mercer officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday March 26th from 5pm until 6pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
