Mrs. Mamie J. Queen Keener Fricks age 69 of Ringgold passed away at her home to be with the Lord and Savior on March 24,2012.Born February 8,1943 in Copperhill, Tennessee the daughter of the late James and Lillian Daves Queen. She was preceeded in death by a sister JoAnn Queen Loveless and her husbands James C. Keener and Eddie “E.R.” Fricks.

Mamie worked for 34 years at Shaw Enterprises as a supervisor where she retired and was of the Pentacostal faith where she attended church at the Tabernacle Choir in Dalton, where she felt at peace with her Lord and Savior and was a true Christian woman. Mamie was a sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She always had a very kind and true heart when it came to loving and caring for her family and friends and she will always be loved and missed.

Surviving their mother is her daughter Ramona L. Keener Truelove Botts (Doyle and Clinton “Bubba”) all of Ringgold, and her son James J. Keener (Patricia) of Dalton, step-daughter Dianna E. Fricks Silvers (Bruce) of Chatsworth, step-sons Tim L. Clark Fricks (Susan) of Locust Grove, Lamar C. Keener of Smyrna. Her brothers James “Jake” Queen (Linda) of Brandenton,FL , John “Jimmy” Queen (Pat) of Ringgold, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wed. March 28, 2012 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Susan Tankersley and Bro. Jim Queen officating. Interment will be in the Flat Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will recieve friends Monday from 3 until 9pm and all day Tuesday until 9pm at the funeral home. Bernhardt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
