James Terrell “Terry” Garland passed from this life Thursday morning, March 30th, 2012 at his residence.

James “Terry” Garland, age 55, was a member of the Hope Well Baptist Church, a graduate of Gilmer High, Class of 1973, University of Georgia and Mercer University School of Pharmacy. He was employed by Drug Emporium, CVS and Publix Pharmacies until his retirement. He was born May 8th, 1956 to his father, James L. and late mother, Frankie Logan Garland.

The family: daughter and fiancée, Jessia Garland and Jay Hardie; sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Amber Garland and Jacob Andrew Garland; grandson, Levi Payton Garland; father, James Leo Garland; aunts and uncles: Janice G. Mosley, Shirley G. Wood, and Harold Garland.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, April 3, 2012 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel, Officiating and speaking Minister Butch Jones. Graveside interment service will be in the Whitestone Baptist Church Cemetery.
