Dozens of children turned out for the Mountain Ridge Garden Shop’s 2nd Annual Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 7. The children enjoyed a warm, sunny morning while the searched for the 700 plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes hidden in the field beside the garden shop. All of the eggs were filled with candy or prizes so that every child would find a “prize egg.” A large Easter bunny and ponies were on hand for pictures with the children. Bubble buckets provided more entertainment before and after the egg hunt.
The ponies were provided by Horsey Couture out of Ballground. Horsey Couture also had horse-themed items available for purchase and proceeds went to benefit Save the Horses.
