Mr. David Edward West age 60 of Ellijay died Sunday April 15, 2012.

Mr. West was born on September 30, 1951 in Chattanooga, TN. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran and self-employed in the electronics and construction industry.

Survivors include: Parents: Jerry & Edna West, Ellijay, Barbara Ann West, Marble Hill, GA; Step-son: Chad Carroll, Cleveland, TN; Brothers: Mark W. West, Ellijay, Jeffery West, Ocoee, TN Sister & brother-in-law: Pamela Ann & Doug Mayer, Marble Hill, GA, Cynthia & Arthur Owen, Savannah, GA; Step-brother: Edward Hansen, Atlanta, GA; Step-sisters & brothers-in-law: Katherine & Dr. William Scott, Early, SC, Laura Frazier, Atlanta, GA; Nephews: Spencer Smith Marietta, GA, Brian Mayer, Atlanta, GA; 2 Great Nieces also survive.

Memorial services will be held Saturday April 21, 2012 at 1pm from the Oak Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Ike Parker & Rev. Gerry Gleason officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society @ 200 West Emery St. Suite 3 Dalton, GA 30720 in memory of Mr. West.
