James Earl Lovell age 77, of Ellijay, passed Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 from the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.Survivors include wife; Diane Barclay Lovell of the home in Ellijay, daughter and fiance; Jacqualin Lovell and Thomas Hess of Indianapolis, IN, son and daughter-in-law; James Lowell and Regina Lowell of Bedford, IN, Mitchell and Pam Wilson of Ellijay, GA, grandchildren; Daniel Lovell, Michael Wilson, Zoie Wilson, Caitlin Wilson and Cole Wilson, sister; Shirley L. Schuman of Turin, GA, brother; Charles Lovell of Ellijay, Ga, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6th from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel. Minister Butch Jones is officiating.

A military graveside service will follow in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon May 5th, 2012 until 9:00 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
