Johnnie Clyde Moore, Sr., age 85, of the Big Buck Mountain Community, Ellijay, Ga. passed away Saturday afternoon June 30th, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning July 5th, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating is Rev. Irene Wofford and Rev. Don Rich. Military graveside services will follow in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will then follow in the Georgia Memorial Cemetery in Canton, Georgia at 2:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Ruth Kirkwood Moore of the home in Ellijay, Georgia; daughters and sons-in-law Teresa Moore Creech of Hobgood, North Carolina, Donna Lynn Hughes of Edwardville, Illinois; sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis Wayne Moore of Vero Beach, Florida, David and Darlene Moore of Tararo, North Carolina, Garry and Carol Hughes of Vero Beach, Florida, Richard and Kelly Hughes of Orlando, Florida; six grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son Johnnie Clyde Moore, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00P.M. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 4th at the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
