The Appalachian Children’s Center held a discussion on Tuesday, July 31st at the North Georgia Community Center concerning child abuse at the local level.
With the help of a panel of child abuse experts, the Appalachian Children’s Center did its part in educating those in attendance about how to handle cases in which children have been abused, whether it is physically or emotionally.
Those who were in attendance also had a chance to participate at the end of the session, as the Appalachian Children’s Center asked for feedback on how to let the public know more on the subject.
