Mrs. Ruth Harrison Partridge age 87 of Ellijay died Saturday October 13, 2012.

Mrs. Partridge was born on August 20, 1925 in Martin, GA. She is the daughter of the late W. B. Harrison and Dora Whitlock Harrison. She worked as a clerk for Starnes Drug Store and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay. She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Lamar Partridge, son Steve Partridge and daughter Joy Partridge.

Survivors include: Grandchildren: Ryan & Allison Partridge, Charlotte, NC, Chad Partridge, Ellijay; 2 Great grandchildren; Sister: Bertie Lee Turner, Martin, GA; Special Friend: Ann Casey, Ellijay; Special Neighbor Talmadge Ellis, Ellijay; Cousins & nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Monday October 15, 2012 at 11am from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay with Dr. Milton Perry & Rev. James Holt officiating.

Interment will be held in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday October 14th from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
