Mrs. Emilia Vega age 92 of Ellijay, GA died Friday November 23, 2012

Mrs. Vega was born December 25, 1919 in Puerto Rico to the late Jose Cruz Vega and Teresa Cortes. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Mrs. Vega is preceded in death by husband, Hipolito Vargas.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE Sons and Daughter in-law: Victor & Maria Vargas, Ellijay, Hipolito Vargas, Puerto Rico; Daughter: Lylian Layer, Michigan; 10 Grandchildren: Papo, Lisy, Sugueil, Brenda, Angie, Cora, Michelle, Elden, Hipolito, and Shane; Several Great Grandchildren also survive

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday November 27th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Irene Wofford officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday November 26th from 5pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Emilia Vega Memorial Fund @ P.O. Box 466 Ellijay, GA 30540.
