Mrs. Ruth Sanford Ratcliff age 86 of Ellijay died Thursday November 22, 2012.

Mrs. Ratcliff was born on May 15, 1926 in Gilmer Co. She is the daughter of the late Noel Sanford and Zona Shelton Sanford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Ratcliff.

Survivors include: Son: Joe Ratcliff, Ellijay; Brother: Truman Sanford, Chatsworth, GA; Sisters: Zennie Wheeler, Cartersville, GA, Opal Carney & Wanda Hughes both of Ellijay; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 24, 2012 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Scott & Rev. Rubin Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday Nov. 23rd from 4pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
