Bessie Maye Richards : Obituary

Mrs. Bessie Maye Richards age 84 of Luke Quarles Road, Ellijay died Friday December 7, 2012.

Mrs. Richards was born on August 16, 1928 in Pickens Co. She is the daughter of the late Patton Chastain and Vara Callahan Chastain. She was a housewife and a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Daughters and sons-in-law: Marcille and Marvin Smith, Talking Rock, Rita Richards, JoAnn and Clinton Jones, all of Ellijay; Sons and daughters-in-law: Darrell and Tammy Richards, Kenneth and Phyllis Richards, all of Ellijay; 17 Grandchildren; 29 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great great grandchildren; Special Nephew: Ronnie Newton, Dalton.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 10, 2012 at 2pm from the Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Arnold, Rev. Coy Richards, and Rev. Chris Chastain officiating.

Interment will be in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday December 9th from 11am until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
