Mrs. Wanda Marie (McNear) Asbridge, age 79 of the Ridgeway Community of Ellijay, GA, passed on Thursday afternoon, December 6th, 2012, from Tthe Gilmer Nursing Home.She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Ellijay, Ga. Wanda was born on May 19th, 1933 to her late parents Joseph Alva and Ruby Marie Rogers in Ottowa, Franklin County, Kansas.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 10th, from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rubin Smith Officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 64 Years, Lloyd Lee Asbridge, Sr. of the home in Ellijay, GA; daughter, Diana Marie Hyatt of Ft. Myers, FL, Sons; and Daughters-in-law, Lloyd Lee (Corky) and Janie Asbridge, Jr. of Hartsville, TN, Robert Duane Asbridge of Chatsworth, GA, Charles William and Linda Asbridge of Ellijay, GA, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; brothers; Pat McNear of Ft. Myers, Florida and Mike McNear of Oregon.
Visitation will Be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December the 9th, at the Logan Funeral Home and Chapel.
