Harvey Stays in Pickens!

Pickens County CFO Faye Harvey has decided to continue her role as chief financial officer. According to Pickens County Commission Chairman Robert Jones, Harvey confirmed her decision today. During the December Commissioner’s meeting, Jones announced that Harvey tentatively submitted her resignation after a mere three months on the job. Last Month Gilmer County Commission Chairman J.C. Sanford confirmed that Harvey expressed an interest in returning to her old position as CFO with Gilmer County. Sanford also said Harvey’s position (if she returned) was accounted for in the 2013 budget proposal. In an email to FYN last week, Jones said that Harvey would consider staying as Pickens CFO over the Christmas Break. Jones confirmed this morning that Harvey will stay in Pickens.
