Mr. James Tinsley “Jimmy” Jones, Sr. age 77 of Dora Lane, Ellijay died Monday January 14, 2013.Mr. Jones was born September 3, 1935 in Fannin Co. to the late Wayne and Lois Queen Jones. He was the transportation director for Boliden Intertrade and was a member of the Calvary Way Baptist Church.
Survivors Include: Wife: Inez Crooke Jones, of the home in Ellijay; Sons: Tim Jones, Ellijay, Tinsley Jones, Woodstock; 6 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Jirri Sue Massingill, McCaysville; Brother: Charles Philman Jones, Jonesboro; Several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held Friday January 18, 2012 at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Dr. Burman Cape, Jr. and Dr. Tal Davis officiating. Interment will be held in the Yukon Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Thursday, January 17th from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
