Mr. Wesley Vick age 83 of Deer Lane, Ellijay died Tuesday January 15, 2013.
Mr. Vick was born February 22, 1929 in Gilmer Co. to the late Milton and Inez Queen Vick. He was a bus driver for the Gilmer County school system and was a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors Include: Wife: Frances Easley Vick of the home in Ellijay; Daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Herman Griggs, Ellijay; 6 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Anna Lee Crump, Ellijay, Vera Lee Bramlett, Ellijay, Sarah Griffin, Smyrna; Brothers: Clell Vick, and J.R. Vick, both of Ellijay, Cecil Vick, Rocky Face; Several nieces and Nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday January 17, 2012 at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Sanford officiating. Interment will be held in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 16th from 5pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
