Laura Spruill : Obituary

Mrs. Laura Helen Cheek Spruill age 91 of Dunwoody, GA died Thursday May 16, 2013.

Mrs. Spruill loved guests and many enjoyed her hospitality. The years of retirement in Ellijay, GA gifted her with a special time of new friends, visits from family and delight in nature. Mrs. Spruill is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cecil Spruill; siblings, Robert Cheek, Bun Joe Cheek and Gladys Rains; and grandson, Joshua Spruill.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gloria and Ken Spruill, Linda and Quentin Pirkle, Debbie and Robert Spruill, and Carol and Richard Spruill; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday May 19, 2013 at four o’clock with visitation at three o’clock at the Bernhardt Funeral Home, 163 River Street, Ellijay, GA 30540.
