Officials Respond Following Flooding in Gilmer County

The massive amount of rain that hit Gilmer County on Thursday morning have left a significant amount of damage to numerous houses, property, and businesses, leaving some patiently waiting on the water levels’ recession to try and return to their normal, everyday life. With so much uncertainty existing due to the flooding, FYN sat down with Gilmer County EMS Director Tony Pritchett as well as Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) Public Affairs Official Crystal Paulk-Buchanan to attempt to find out more about the response from Gilmer County and what the recovery process holds in store:
