Mrs. Clara Tankersley Landers age 97 of Sally Circle Ellijay died Thursday Sept. 12, 2013.Mrs. Landers was born June 1, 1916 in Gilmer county the daughter of the late Floyd J. and Lillie Webb Tankersley. She worked for a time for the US Government and was a member of the Pinbrook Pines Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by son Kenny Wofford in 2004.

Survivors include: Husband: Lloyd J. Landers of the home, Granddaughter: Jan McColley, Chickamauga, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday Sept. 14, 2013 at 2pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jess Posey officiating. Interment will be in the Tails Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 4 until 8pm at the funeral home.
