2LT Mallinak Takes Command of 507 Ellijay Cadet Squadron

Cadet 2Lt Robert Mallinak assumed command of the cadet squadron of the 507th Ellijay Composite Squadron during a “Assumption of Command” ceremony Tuesday, November 19, 2013.
Presiding commander Captain Sam Burrell stated the importance of command responsibility cannot be overlooked, that a good leader is also a good follower, and that he is personally very proud of the cadets and Lt Mallinak.

Lt Mallinak is the first cadet commander of the 507th and will face many challenges. During his remarks, Lt Mallinak stated that he is excited to have the opportunity and looks forward to the challenge and reward of helping our cadets progress in their assignments.
